Becky Lynch has been off WWE TV since May 2024, and while shes officially back under contract, her long-awaited return still has no confirmed date. Now, Seth Rollins is shedding light on whats really going on.
While speaking with Front Office Sports, Rollins was asked directly about his wifes future in WWE. His answer didnt give a timelinebut it gave fans hope.
That comment comes after months of speculation about Lynchs status. The former multi-time Womens Champion stepped away last year to pursue Hollywood opportunities and hasnt been seen in a WWE ring since. While her re-signing with WWE is official, she has stayed quiet about an actual return date.
Behind the scenes, part of the delay reportedly had to do with both Lynch and Rollins changing representation. Theyve signed with Adventure Media and wanted their new agent to negotiate matching WWE contractssame start date, same length, and similar terms. One key sticking point was Lynch wanting greater flexibility for outside projects and some control over the Becky Lynch name.
Still, despite the business being settled, Lynch has yet to resurface on TV. Shes appeared at some Netflix-related events, but only to show supportnot to signal a storyline return.
With WrestleMania 41 just around the corner, fans are wondering whether Big Time Becks might make a surprise comeback. But if Rollins comments are anything to go by, they may need to hold out just a little longer.
