The Aerial Assassin took to Twitter and revealed that he had a horrible travel day after his flight to London Heathrow was forced to turn around and return to Boston while already halfway over the ocean.
Stranded far from home, he expressed his disappointment, as he had been looking forward to reuniting with his wife and child. Despite the setback, he remained hopeful that everything would work out and that he could return home the next day.
It is to be noted that Londons Heathrow Airport will remain closed all day on Friday, with over 1,300 flights expected to be canceled after a fire at a nearby electrical substation caused a major power outage.
The London Fire Brigade responded to the blaze in Hayes, west London, shortly after 11 PM on Thursday. The fire led to power cuts affecting thousands of homes and Heathrow Airport. More than 70 firefighters worked to bring the situation under control, which was achieved by 8 AM. While the cause remains unknown, there is no immediate suspicion of foul play.
