The Owen Hart Cup tournament is always something that fans look forward to every year since the winners of the Mens and Womens tournaments end up getting a title shot at All In. In fact, AEWs plans for this years tournaments have been revealed.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW hasnt announced when the Owen Hart Tournament will take place, but he expects the finals to happen at Double or Nothing since the winner gets a title shot at All In Texas. So far, only Will Ospreay and Adam Page have been confirmed for the tournament, and they could likely face each other in the finals.

Last years Owen Hart Cup tournaments were arguably the best since they featured Bryan Danielson beating Hangman Page towin the Owen Hart Foundation Mens Tournament, securing a world title shot at AEW All In. He would go on to defeat Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Championship.

On the other hand, Mariah May also defeated Willow Nightingale to get an opportunity at the AEW Womens Title. May would also end up beating Toni Storm to become the AEW Womens Champion last year.

With Double or Nothing coming up, AEW is expected to announce more details about the Owen Hart Tournament, including the full lineup and matchups. With high stakes and top stars like Will Ospreay and Hangman Page already confirmed, this years tournament could be just as thrilling as last years.
