Michael Coles voice has been the soundtrack of WWE for over two decadesand now, his former broadcast partner thinks its time for him to get the ultimate recognition.

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry The King Lawler sat down with Bill Apter and didnt hesitate when asked whether Cole should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He definitely should be there, without a doubt, and right now if he was the one that was going in, he would be the headliner, Lawler said, before adding with a laugh, But [not] if at the last minute they throw in somebody like [a major star].

Cole has been with WWE since 1997, calling some of the most iconic moments in wrestling history. From Stone Cold Steve Austins heyday to Roman Reigns dominance, Coles voice has been a constant presence, and he now anchors the RAW announce team with Pat McAfee.

While his on-screen chemistry with Lawler was often electric, the two also had their scripted falloutincluding their infamous WrestleMania 27 match, where Cole technically defeated Lawler by disqualification. Still, Lawler has nothing but respect for his longtime partners legacy.
