The March 21 episode of WWE SmackDownwent down in theUnipol Arena in Bologna, Italy. You never know what can happen when WWE is getting closer to WrestleMania, and they brought a big storyline to Italy this week.
Fans waited to see what would go down when Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk were seen on screen. After all, the three of them have experienced quite a whirlwind of a storyline on the road to WrestleMania 41.
They showed Paul Heyman arriving at the arena just before the final segment of the night started. The sight of the Wise Man excited the fans in Italy as they gave a big reception for the WWE Hall of Famer.
Roman Reigns came out in the final segment of the show, and fans in Italy gave the OTC an amazing ovation. Reigns said he loves the fans in Italy, and then he moved onto speaking about how he screwed CM Punk at MSG because he screwed him before. Then he addressed how Seth Rollins tried to kill him, but thats okay, because last week at MSG, he tried to kill Rollins.
Then Roman Reigns said that hes going to take his time out there, because he has at least another 15 to 20 minutes left of the show. That is when Seth Rollins came out to share the airtime.
Fans sang Seth Rollins song for a while, and then he finally got down to addressing Roman Reigns. He said that Reigns messed up, because he doesnt understand how dangerous CM Punk is to the future of WWE, and he should have let him finish Punk when he had the chance.
Seth Rollins told Roman Reigns that he cant co-exist with his former Shield brother at the same time, and its time they added another chapter to their story. That is when CM Punk came out as fans started to chant for him.
CM Punk got down to business as he spoke about some facts. He said that neither Rollins or Reigns have beat him without the other ones help. That is when CM Punk brought up the favor that Paul Heyman owes him, because he filled in for Roman Reigns team at WarGames. Then Punk thanked Heyman for delivering Reigns on a silver platter to him.
Punk jumped Reigns and then Rollins jumped Punk. Then Roman got Punk in the corner with some punches, and Rollins pulled him off to pummel him. One referee was around to split up the three-way brawl. Punk and Rollins rolled around on the floor, throwing punches as Roman Reigns tried to get someone off the other so he could beat them up too. A sea of WWE officials flooded the ring to separate them at this point.
CM Punk then got on the announce table and announced that he is the best in the world as he pointed at the WrestleMania 41 sign. Then Rollins landed a dive as he pointed at the sign as well.
