Dont expect Eric Bischoff to hop back into the wrestling gameno matter whos running the show.
With wild rumors making the rounds online about Vince McMahon potentially launching a new wrestling promotion, fans started fantasy booking who could get involved behind the scenes. But on his 83 Weeks podcast, the former WCW boss made it crystal clear: hes out for good.
Bischoff, who briefly ran WWE SmackDowns creative team in 2019, didnt hold back about why a return would be a mistake.
That last gig with WWE was short-lived and widely viewed as underwhelming. Since then, Bischoffs only dipped into wrestling with a few one-off appearances, most recently with MLW in late 2023. Beyond that, hes been more focused on podcasting and other ventures far away from the creative chaos of pro wrestling.
So, if Vince McMahon or anyone else is building a new company, theyll have to do it without Easy E.
