While speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo has defended The Undertaker against accusations that he used his backstage influence to get Michelle McCool on WWE LFG.Russo suggested that the decision may have come from the shows producers rather than The Undertaker himself.
Russo believes that The Undertaker might have been hesitant to commit to a second season due to travel demands, and the producers could have offered to include McCool as a way to keep him involved. Russo emphasized that The Undertaker doesnt seem like the type to push for his wifes inclusion just to secure her a role.
Ringside News previously confirmed thatMickie James name was removed from the season two description of WWE LFG. The updated coaching lineup now includes The Undertaker, Booker T, Michelle McCool, and Bubba Ray Dudley.
It was also reported that The Undertakerplayed a role in getting his wife, Michelle McCool, on the show, as Fightful previously noted,Undertaker was open to continuing the show if Michelle McCool was involved, so she was brought in to replace Mickie James.
While some believe The Undertaker used his position to bring his wife into the show, others believe he is an obvious choice because of his legendary WWE career. Russo simply wanted to defend The Undertaker no matter what, and thats what matters to Russo in the end.
