Willie Mack isnt here to play by the old rulesespecially when it comes to frog splashes. While Rob Van Dams iconic Five Star Frog Splash is etched into wrestling history, Mack just raised the bar and slapped his own name on it.
During his appearance on the latest episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City, Mack didnt hesitate when asked why his Six Star Frog Splash goes one better than RVDs.
RJ City asked the obvious: One of your finishing moves is the six-star frog splash. Why is your frog splash one star better than RVDs five-star frogs?
Mack hit back with a straight-faced response: Because Im big and Black.
RJ pressed him further about ruining the entire star system, saying, But dont you understand that youre skewing the whole star rating system? Five, everyone thought five was the max. Is six the max, or is there going to be some guy in Japan years from now who does a seven?
Willie didnt flinch: Listen, they got it all messed up because of that Meltzer person. My six, fight me if you want to.
Known for his hard-hitting style and explosive charisma, Macks been a regular presence in AEW as of late, with his most recent appearance coming on March 1st in a singles bout against Wheeler Yuta.
With his swagger, humor, and now a finishing move that officially breaks the rating scale, Mack continues to stand outand hes clearly not afraid to challenge the status quo.
