
Londons Mayor Sadiq Khan has expressed a keen interest in bringing WrestleMania to the UK capital and its been a topic of discussion for a long time. With that said, Drew McIntyre has accused John Cena of trying to take credit for being the first to push for WrestleMania in London.
While speaking toThe Daily Star, Drew McIntyre was asked if WWE would hold a big Premium Live Event in Europe, especially after successful shows like Clash at the Castle in Scotland and events in France and Germany.
The Scottish Warrior said he is sure a major event will happen in the UK and even believes WrestleMania will be there one day as he now thinks anything is possible in WWE.
McIntyre also accused John Cena of trying to take credit for the idea. McIntyre claimed that he was the first to say WrestleMania would come to the UK, but Cena later acted like it was his idea. McIntyre is confident that it will happen eventually.
McIntyres accusation stems from John Cena showing up at the 2023 Money in the Bank in Londonto make it clear that WrestleMania should take place in the city. After all, McIntyre is clearly not a fan of John Cena, especially after his heel turn now.
It was also reported that Sadiq Khan has renewed a push to bring WrestleMania to London. As talks continue, fans are definitely waiting for an official announcement that could transform The Showcase of the Immortals. Therefore, well have to see when WrestleMania will finally take place in London in the future.
