John Cena mightve dropped a bomb on RAW when he said he was breaking up with the WWE Universebut it turns out hes not the only one who feels that way. Seth Rollins just co-signed Cenas harsh truth, and he didnt hold back either.
During a new interview on The Rich Eisen Show, the former World Heavyweight Champion was asked whether pro wrestling has ever had a case of Chiefs fatiguewhere fans turn on someone because theyre always winning.
Without hesitation, Rollins brought up Cena. Oh, John Cena is the perfect example of that. Perfect example of that, Rollins said. Hes a guy who just recently turned heel for the first time in a long time but John, hes the perfect example. He would win so much, they would just boo him. They go, We want Cena, Cena sucks. We want Cena, Cena sucks. Yeah!
Rollins doubled down on Cenas RAW monologue, where the 16-time champ ripped the fans to pieces, saying theyd treated him like a puppet for 25 years and that no matter what he did, it was never enough. Cena capped off that tirade by calling the fanbase toxic and likening their relationship to an abusive one.
Now with Rollins publicly backing that same viewpoint, its clear Cenas heel turn has more support than anyone expectedand maybe it wasnt just a storyline jab after all.
