Sam Adonis had one wild night in Mexicoand not in the good way.
The AAA Tag Team Champion walked into AAA Rey De Reyes on Saturday alongside Jeff Jarrett ready to defend their gold. Instead, they walked out without the titles and Adonis left with a whole lot more than just a bruised ego.
Nueva Generacion Dinamitas Sansn and Forastero dethroned Adonis and Jarrett in a hard-fought bout. But the real pain came later, when Adonis took to social media to update fans on the aftermath of the matchand it was downright gruesome.
According to Adonis, he suffered a dislocated jaw, broken nose, and needed 13 stitches in his lip. On top of that, the AEW and AAA standout admitted his nightmarish moment might make him infamous for the wrong reasons.
Ill be the MVP of Botchamania after a springboard moonsault went wrong, he joked in his post.
Despite the intense injuries, Adonis kept his sense of humor intact. But this type of setback could sideline him for a while as he recovers from multiple facial injuries.
Now the question is: how long will Adonis be out, and will we see him back in a tag title picture anytime soon?
