Corey Graves stepped back into the Monday Night RAW spotlight last week in Brussels, Belgium, covering commentary duties for Pat McAfee, who stayed in the U.S. due to ESPN obligations. Now fans are wonderingwas this a one-off, or is WWE quietly slotting Graves back into the main roster full-time?

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select weighed in during a recent Q&A session, offering insight on Graves current status in the company. When asked whether McAfee would be making the upcoming trip to Glasgow or London and what Graves future looks like, Sapp dropped this key update: I have not heard about McAfee, but Graves is supposed to be the go-to slide him in guy and there were a lot of people there that thought that eventually that would just lead to him being back on RAW or SmackDown.

Graves has been bouncing between roles, most recently appearing on NXT commentary after some friction regarding his placementa situation that caused a stir when he aired his grievances in now-deleted tweets. But according to sources, Graves remains well-liked by WWE brass and is still viewed as a valuable voice in the company.

Michael Cole also touched on the situation recently, mentioning that Graves and WWE have been working through the fallout, and things seem to be patched up. The former NXT Champion-turned-commentator has been with the company for over a decade and brings experience, snark, and credibility to the deskqualities that could be leaned on even more if McAfees media schedule continues to clash with WWE dates.
