Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton have been feuding for the past few weeks, ever since Flair chose Stratton as her WrestleMania 41 opponent. Flair also utterly demolished Stratton in a promo battle on the March 21st SmackDown and now the internal reaction to Flair destroying Stratton has been revealed.
As seen during the March 21st WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton had a promo battle. However, Flair outperformed the WWE Womens Champion, shutting down everything Stratton said. Fans even said that Charlotte buried her and simply made Stratton look weak due to what Flair said.
According to Fightful Select, the backstage reaction to the segment was that Flair had simply handled business during the promo. Officials felt Stratton was put in a tough situation where she had to prove herself. While she didnt completely fail, Charlotte Flair was simply better.
As for whether Flair went off-script, the belief is that she didnt. It was noted that she knew what Stratton would say and had prepared strong responses beforehand. Many backstage thought Charlotte looked like the bigger star, while Stratton simply did not.
With WrestleMania 41 approaching, the feud between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has become very personal. It remains to be seen if Stratton will be able to get some payback on Flair, as fans definitely feel Stratton deserves better.
