Mercedes Mon is never one to hold backand now shes chimed in on the wild ringside chaos that never made it to air during AEW Collision: Slam Dunk Sunday.
On March 24, AEW posted bonus footage from the March 23 broadcast, showing a hilarious and unexpected face-off between Chris Jericho and a young fan in the front row. The clip, which didnt make the televised cut, shows Jericho yelling at the kid after he was flipped off. Do that again, I dare you, Jericho said. The kid didnt hesitatehe flipped Jericho off again.
Jericho, clearly stunned, walked over and told the kid, You dont even know what that means. The kid fired back with Yes I do, before Jericho threatened to ground [him] and send [him] to [his] room. Thats when things went nuclearthe kid replied, F** you.* And if that wasnt enough, a little girl nearby mock-laughed right in Jerichos face.
The clip has been blowing up on AEWs social mediabut the real kicker came when Mercedes Mon jumped in with her own reaction. Quote-tweeting the footage, the TBS Champion wrote, I wouldve slapped that kid!
Needless to say, Mons comment added gasoline to an already viral moment, sparking debates online about the limits of fan interactionespecially when it involves kids going full heel at ringside.
Do you think the kid went too far or was it all in good fun? And what do you think of Mercedes Mons reaction? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
