Coco Gauff has failed to turn the page at the Miami Open after picking up yet another shock and disappointing loss, while Emma Raducanu continues her fine form and has been through to her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal.

Against unseeded Magda Linette, the third-seeded sprayed 12 double faults, 45 unforced errors, and lost her serve four times before registering a 4-6 4-6 loss and bowing out of the tournament in the round-of-16. Before today's loss, the American had been 2-0 against the 34th-ranked Pole.
In the third game of the first set, Linette collected the first break of the match and that was enough for her to bag the opener. Down by a set, Gauff appeared to be finding her groove after opening a 2-0 lead in the second set but then her level dropped again as she got broken three times in the rest of the set and then ended up picking a two-set defeat.
In her first Miami quarterfinal, Linette will play against Jasmine Paolini, who beat Naomi Osaka today.

Raducanu had a great day at the office
Raducanu, who was outstanding in her first three Miami matches, also ousted No. 17 seed Amanda Anisimova today 6-1 6-3. In the first set of the match, the Briton pulled off something absolutely remarkable - she claimed three breaks and didn't lose a single point on her serve.
For a place in the Miami semifinal, Raducanu will play against the winner of the match between Jessica Pegula and Marta Kostyuk.
While the 2021 US Open champion played extremely well and deserved her win, it should be mentioned that Anisimova called for a trainer after the first set for blisters, which also hampered her last night during a win against Mirra Andreeva.
