Lexis King debuted in WWE in October 2023 with a completely different look from his time in AEW. His entrance includes a sliding throne that he sits on, which fans really enjoy. That being said, the scrapped plans for his entrance on NXT television have been revealed.

While speaking on theNo Contest Wrestling podcast, Lexis King talked about the original plans for his NXT entrance that didnt happen. He admitted that while he would love to take credit for the throne idea, it was entirely a WWE production decision. He stated that head coach Matt Bloom was the first to tell him about it.

Originally, the plan was for King to be carried out on a throne by a group of women, which he thought was a perfect fit for his King character. However, on the day of the show, production realized that carrying him would be too difficult. To adjust, a crew member suggested putting the throne on wheels and rolling it out instead.

The team spent the day figuring out the logistics, eventually settling on a simple wheeled platform that was pulled by crew members. With added fog effects, the final presentation still looked great, even though it wasnt what they first planned.
