On the October 21 episode of WWE RAW, Lilian Garcia returned as a ring announcer, reclaiming the role she had for many years. She later moved to SmackDown but recently announced that she will no longer be a full-time announcer. Garcia has now revealed that WWE informed her from the start that her role was never meant to be permanent.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Lilian Garcia revealed that her full-time role was never meant to be permanent. When she was brought back, she knew her time on Raw would last until the changeover to Netflix on January 6.

After that, she was placed on SmackDown, but there was no set timeline for how long she would stay. Each week, WWE asked her to continue, and she was happy to do so because she loved the experience.

Even though she will no longer be the full-time SmackDown announcer, WWE wanted to keep her involved. They offered her a role on Saturday Nights Main Event, believing she was a perfect fit for the show. She loved the opportunity, especially because she gets to wear gowns for it.

Garcia is excited to be part of the team and open to more opportunities. WWE mentioned they are in talks about other shows, and she told them she is ready to step in whenever needed.

While her SmackDown run has come to an end, fans will still see Lilian Garcia in WWE through Saturday Nights Main Event and possibly more projects in the future. Its clear that her passion for the industry has never faded and fans will continue to love watching her no matter what.
