Boris Becker isn't a supporter of the PTPA suing the governing bodies of tennis as the German tennis legend has stated that he "cannot take it seriously" when one of the main faces behind the lawsuit is a person who doesn't have a tennis background.

A week ago, the Novak Djokovic-led PTPA announced it was taking the ATP, WTA, ITF and the ITIA to court over their "anti-competitive practices" and "a blatant disregard for player welfare." In one of his interviews that came after the lawsuit, PTPA executive director Ahmad Nassar also claimed the governing bodies were operating "a rigged system."
Becker, who has been hosting a podcast with fellow retired German player Andrea Petkovic, addressed the matter on the latest episode.
"I have been in the tennis business for 40 years. If this man were to cross my path now, I wouldnt recognize him. And he talks about my beloved sport of tennis and says tennis is broken who does this man think he is?" the former six-time Grand Slam champion said on Becker Petkovic Podcast.

Becker: It would be a different story if all the top players supported the lawsuit
In the 57-year-old's eyes - it is pretty simple. If the players - especially the best in the game - are backing PTPA's claims, then there is definitely truth behind their allegations. But if the players are silent, then it probably won't be that easy to prove their accusations.
"If the top 10 players were to support this unanimously, fine. If I dont have them, then I cant take the matter seriously. I dont understand the basis for it, the language or the way of doing it," Becker added.
The ATP and WTA have strongly rejected the allegations made by the PTPA. Meanwhile, Djokovic said that he agrees and disagrees with certain parts of the lawsuits.
