Cameron Smith is a name that always attracts attention, although by going to LIV Golf, his name is mentioned much less often among the golf public. The famous Australian is motivated to make history at the Majors this year, and his first challenge will be this year's Masters.

Cameron Smith won The Open Championship three years ago in fierce competition, but shortly after that he decided to sign for the Saudi-backed Tour.
Playing at LIV Golf, Smith looked quite solid from day one, but it is clear that he is no longer in the public eye, especially since LIV does not have the ratings of the PGA Tour.
Nick O'Hern, an Australian golfer, stressed during the Talk Birdie To me podcast that Smith has a big test ahead of him, given that he did not excel at LIV Golf. If he is not impressive at the Masters, Nick believes that Smith will have to think carefully about the future and decisions.
"This year is going to be a very interesting test for him," -he said, as quoted by Mirror.

"His results this year with LIV haven't been stellar, unfortunately. He seems to be finishing middle of the field, and in a 54-man field that isn't great.
Come the Masters, if he doesn't have a good year in the Masters he may have some rethinking to do."
Cameron Smith's future
Cameron Smith hasn't been doing so great on the controversial Tour, and his departure from the PGA Tour seems to have worsened his status in the golf world. It is necessary that he finds a solution for some other performances as soon as possible, and maybe playing tournaments like the Masters, in front of a big audience, can be great to show that he really is a top-quality golfer.
We know that he has top quality, but if you don't show it on golf courses, those qualities won't help you.
