Footage circulating online shows CM Punk and Cody Rhodes engaging with fans at a WWE live event in Nottingham, England. While Punk was attempting to take a selfie with several fans, one female fan crossed the line by getting too handsy with him by rubbing one of his shoulders.
The Second City Saint was visibly uncomfortable and immediately recoiled before trying to take a selfie again. However, the woman didnt let up and tried to touch his back, and he immediately told the woman off and warned her that he was going to punch her in the face if she tried to cross the line again, saying, Im going to punch you in the face.
Cody Rhodes also faced a similar situation with the aforementioned fan who tried to grab his arms and then the back of his neck, as he ducked while trying to take a selfie, making it clear he was uncomfortable as well.
Wrestlers appreciate their fans, but its important to respect their personal space. Incidents like this show that even at fan-friendly WWE events, boundaries should be respected. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes reactions remind us that wrestlers, like everyone else, deserve personal space and respect.
