Brian Campbell, a 32-year-old PGA Tour player, revealed in an interview with the media that he got a voicemail from Jay Monahan, the PGA Tour commissioner, after his victory in Mexico. Campbell won in quite an interesting way, with the ball hitting the bamboo tree and bouncing back into the game.

After that, Brian hit a birdie putt for the win.
In an interview for Golf Magic, the 32-year-old golfer laughed, saying that he should grow some bamboo in his back yard. And indeed, his victory was unique and completely different from anything we have seen so far.
"I'm jokingly saying that I need to grow some bamboo in my back yard as soon as I can because I've got to pay homage to that for sure," Campbell told Golf Magic.
Although his victory was quite different from anything we see, he is also delighted with this kind of success, and it seems that to succeed in anything, sometimes you need luck.

"That was fun for them to bring us out there to do that afterwards," Campbell said.

I think what's funny for me is I was locked in for four days.
My mind was so on the shots that I needed to hit from hole to hole and for it to come down to one shot is a shame, but also - heck - I'll take it.

So I'm proud of myself but also very happy and pleased that it bounced off the tree."

After the magnificent victory, the American golfer took the phone and realized that there were as many as 590 text messages. The seasoned golfer admits that most of it was by Fantasy Football chat. However, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan also sent him a message, and Campbell admitted that he was grateful for that.
