Mina Shirakawa most likely will be coming stateside as a report has emerged of her leaving STARDOM at the end of this month. This is being reported by Tokyo Sports. Her contract was not renewed at the end of last year, per her decision.

After leaving the company, Shirakawa is likely to make a full-scale foray into the U.S. ring, Kimoto Riju of Tokyo Sports said in his report via Google Translate. According to multiple sources, Shirakawa informed the company of her intention to leave at the end of last year.

Shirakawa has been working with STARDOM for nearly five years. She has gone on to become highly decorated in the promotion to include: Two-time Artist of Stardom Champion, Future of Stardom Champion, Goddess of Stardom Champion, and Wonder of Stardom Champion.

Shirakawa was a founding member of two groups while in the promotion, first Cosmic Angels (with Tam NakanoandUnagi Sayaka) and then Club Venus (with Mariah May and Xia Brookside). The latter is now known as Empress Nexus Venus, which she is still the leader of. Her team with just Mariah May was known as Rose Gold. She has also appeared in AEW on numerous occasions during the ups and downs of the relationship between May and Toni Storm.

Also, a former RevPro Undisputed British Womens Champion, Shirakawa dropped the title to Mercedes Mone in January at NJPW x AEW Dynasty in a Winner Takes All match.
