In the end, the most successful team of the first season is Atlanta Drive GC, celebrating against New York GC in last night's match 4-3.

Although New York had a lead of 3-0, the Atlanta team did not give up for a single moment and made a comeback in great style. Atlanta players were visibly delighted with the victory, sharing their emotions after such a victory.
After the end of the tournament, Billy Horschel stressed that TGL is a completely different experience than anything so far. The experienced golfer was the driver of his team, and the main weapon in the last two matches.
"This is something different to what we play every week. We want to entertain," said Billy Horschel, as quoted by BBC.
"That's what this is about. It's been great to be with all three of these guys."

Atlanta GC is a team consisting of four great golfers: Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas and Lucas Glover. By winning last night's match, they won 6.93 million pounds, which is a really huge prize.

As we mentioned earlier, Horschel was quite impressive, sinking an 18-foot downhill putt to give his team the lead. The experienced golfer admitted that the match was full of tension, but he is happy that they achieved their goal in the end.
"I hit the spot, it looked good. Two feet out I knew it was in the hole and I blacked out," Horschel said.
"I think I said some expletives. I think I said something about this being my house. It was a lot of fun."
The first season fulfilled the goals and expectations, and we will see if TGL officials can create the same excitement factor in the years ahead. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, as the creators of this league, have pointed out several times that their goal is to make this competition one of the best, and raise the ratings even more in the coming years.
