
Former Grand Slam champion and Serena Williams' ex-coach Rennae Stubbs noticed a post mocking Emma Raducanu's Miami run and she wasn't having any of that.

In case you missed it, the 22-year-old has won four consecutive matches for the first time since her 2021 US Open run and she is set to feature in a WTA 1000 quarterfinal for the first time in her career. In the process, she beat two very notable names - No. 8 seed Emma Navarro and recent Doha champion Amanda Anisimova.
However, one person isn't impressed by Raducanu's run and mockingly stated that it would only help the world No. 60 ensure wildcards for some of the upcoming tournaments.
"This run is going to buy Raducanu another 6 months of wildcards" the post writTSen on X read.
Stubbs, who won four Grand Slam titles in women's doubles and two in mixed doubles, ripped it as "a stupid comment."
"What a stupid comment," the Australian tennis legend wrote.

Raducanu won't need wildcards for the upcoming tournaments
So far, the British tennis player is guaranteed to improve at least 12 spots and be ranked at world No. 48 next Monday. With that ranking, she won't have any issues directly entering any tournaments.
Meanwhile, Raducanu said in Miami that she found a way to enjoy herself on and off the court.
"i feel when I am boxed into a regimented way then I am not able to express myself in the same way. So Im happy with how I realized that this week," the 22-year-old told Sky Sports.

In the Miami quarterfinal, Raducanu will take on fourth-seeded home favorite Jessica Pegula. Going into the match, the American called the 22-year-old "a great player" who has played "some good tennis" in South Beach.
