For months, fans have been waiting to see if AEW would launch a new show called AEW: Shockwave on FOX. However, there had not been any update about the show for months, and now it appears that the deal has fallen through.

While speaking on The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about the status of AEW Shockwave and whether it was still happening after months of silence. He explained that it was only a pitch and a theory rather than a concrete plan. While the idea was brought up, no deal was ever reached, and it ultimately fell through.

While AEW previously filed a trademark for AEW: Shockwave, and Swerve Strickland even hinted atAEW possibly having a presence on FOX, there was simply no indication that the show was ever going to see the light of day.
