The second is in extraordinary form and has already won two titles this year (the only one to do so so far), the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players Championship. Now, his big goal is to win the Masters to complete the Grand Slam and end a drought with the Majors that has lasted since 2014. The Texas Children's Houston Open plays an important role, precisely, in view of The Masters. In fact, at the end of the competition, the best 50 in the world ranking, if not already qualified, will punch the pass to participate in the coveted tournament. But there's more: because with a victory, in this competition but also in the Valero Texas Open (3-6 April in San Antonio), you can still earn a place in Augusta. Defending the title in Houston will be the German Stephan Jaeger. Past winners also include Tony Finau (2022) and Lanto Griffin (2019). $9,500,000 up for grabs (first prize is $1,710,000).
