In a new chat with TMZ, Flair was asked how he felt about Cenas villainous declaration on RAW, where Cena told fans he would win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, retire with it, and make sure people forget about Ric Flair. The Hall of Famer didnt miss a beat with his response.
Im just glad Im alive. Thats the life Ive led to be here to hear it, Flair joked before addressing Cenas shot at history. I got news for John the odds of him winning the 17th world title are astronomical.
But despite the jab, Flair made it clear he respects the move, saying later in the conversation, I love it. I think its the coolest thing they could have done.
