Saraya Addresses Possible WWE Return After AEW Exit

After confirming her departure from All Elite Wrestling on her Rulebreakers podcast, the former Paige has made it clear shes not closing the door on returning to the company that made her a household name. And in a new interview on B4 The Bell, Saraya addressed the speculation head-onand got real about her connection to the character that changed her life.

You know what, this came up so much at my signing yesterday, she said. I didnt realize, I always have this insecurity I guess where I feel like people just dont give a crap about me [laughs], and I have to be reminded of it all the time. But I get so many people wondering if Im gonna go back there.

Shes not ruling anything out. I dont know. Maybe if theres something cool that comes along and they would want me back there. Maybe. Who knows? Who knows what the future holds? Never say never.

But when it comes to how shed returntheres no doubt. Shed bring back the name that started it all.

Paige. Paige. Paige, she said. I felt like I could leave that character at the door. I love being Saraya, and I love that people know me as Saraya and stuff like that. With Paige though, I felt like I built such a special thing with her She was a badass. I loved being her, and she has built my life. I got a movie made about Paige.

A lot of my career is built on that character, and people love that character, and thats the one that kind of stood out compared to everybody else. She has a special place in my heart. If I was to go back, Paige in a heartbeat. Same music, Paige, everything.

After becoming NXTs inaugural Womens Champion and a two-time WWE Divas Champion, Paige was forced into early retirement before reinventing herself as Saraya in AEW. Now that her run in AEW has ended, the door to WWE may be opening once again.
