Missy Hyatt is bringing more than just autographs and photo ops to WrestleConshes bringing protection.
The WCW legend is set to appear at WrestleCon during WrestleMania weekend, and fans who stop by her table might do a double take at one of the most unexpected merch items in the building: Missy Hyatt condoms.
WrestleCon announced her appearance for Saturday, April 19, and included a list of items shell have available. Among the usual offerings like 8x10s, trading cards, and calendars was a head-turner: (4) Missy Hyatt condoms for $20.
Hyatt, never one to shy away from a headline, took to social media to explain her unconventional choice.
You always have to have interesting things on your gimmick table, she wrote. I have no weed line or energy drinks to sell. But I have my own condom line. I cant neuter the world.
For those keeping track, wrestling-branded condoms arent completely unheard of. WWF flirted with Attitude Era rubbers back in the day, and Antonio Inoki had his own Japanese-branded line. But its still rare to see wrestlers going all-in on this kind of merch in 2025.
The idea of wrestling condoms even came up during a past Strictly Business episode when Eric Bischoff revealed someone pitched WCW-branded condoms during his time as Senior VP.
It didnt go far, Bischoff said, adding, You gotta think about the universe of advertisers youre creating for your show Oh yeah, were pitching rubbers too. Eh, you gotta think about that.
Hyatt clearly isnt too worried about that kind of branding hesitation. Shes doing it her wayand letting fans decide if they want to leave with a photo, a calendar, or something a little more, uh, practical.
Would you grab a pack of Missy Hyatt condoms at WrestleConor is this one gimmick too far? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you draw the merch line.
