Injuries are a constant concern in professional wrestling, and AEW has faced many over the years. Recent reports claimed that an AEW star was out of action due to injury, but it now seems that may not be the case after all.

TrillerTV took to their official Twitter account and confirmed an upcoming match which will see Nic Nemeth defend the WSW World Championship against Brian Cage in Brisbane on March 29th this week as part of WSWs Legacy event, as they said, The belt is on the line in Brisbane @NicTNemeth defends the @WSWWrestlingAUS world title strap against @briancagegmsi ; who ya got?

This revelation comes after Dave Meltzer previously reported that Brian Cage injured his knee during a match against Chris Masters at an independent event on March 20 in Los Angeles. Meltzer claimed that AEW had to change plans for the tag title match at Dynasty. Originally, Hurt Syndicate was set to face Murder Machines, but due to Cages injury, the challengers were switched to Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

Therefore, its quite evident that Brian Cage is not actually injured at all since he is set to square off against Nic Nemeth on March 29th. If he were legitimately injured, the match wouldnt have been confirmed in the first place.

With questions still going on about Brian Cages injury, fans are left guessing about AEWs next moves. Whether he was never seriously hurt or recovered quickly, his scheduled match makes it clear hes prepared to compete no matter what.

Do you believe Brian Cage was injured but made a quick recovery, or was the initial report inaccurate? How do you think AEW will handle his booking going forward? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
