Drew McIntyre mightve spoken too soonand paid the price in glass.
On the March 28 episode of WWE SmackDown in London, the former WWE Champion ran into Lewis Capaldi backstage and shared a light moment, chatting about their post-show plans. But the mood quickly shifted when Jackie Redmond pulled Drew aside for an interview.
Asked about his match and the escalating drama around him, Drew didnt hold back. I dont care about other peoples business. When no one gets involved with mine, I win, he said. Then came the jab that may have sealed his fate: Priest doesnt have the balls to show up tonight.
WellPriest showed up. As Drew headed to the parking garage, Damian Priest was waiting. No music. No warnings. Just fists. Priest blindsided McIntyre and launched him into a parked car. Then, things got even more out of controlhe attacked a random bystander, then turned his full rage back on Drew.
Priest went full savage, clawing at McIntyres eyes and choke slamming him through the car window in a violent display of dominance. Standing over the wreckage, Priest sneered, Im done. Are there any other jokes? before adding, Rest in peace.
As Drew lay battered, CM Punk and the Punkettes casually walked into the scene, stopping to stare silently at the broken McIntyre. No words. Just judgment.
Is this Damian Priests message to the WWE locker roomor something personal between him and Drew? And what was CM Punk really thinking as he stood over the chaos? Drop your reactions in the comments and let us know where you think this is all heading.
