In an interview with Golf.com, Bubba Watson talked about a lot of interesting topics from the world of golf, and his experience and successes on the golf scene are the reason why the show with him attracted such attention.

Watson made a comparison between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour, stressing that the PGA Tour lacks positivity.
And indeed, many golfers explain that LIV Golf is a league that offers unity and harmony, differing significantly from the PGA.
Truthfully what it is is that I am having fun right now. My wife is letting me have fun, my kids are enjoying it. They are letting me have fun. My options are always open, Watson said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.
If you say I am a golfer then you are limiting who Bubba is. So for me the one thing I think we miss on the Tour is positivity, on the PGA Tour when I was on the PGA Tour I think we missed positivity. So when you hit a shot or Scottie hits a shot or Rory hits a shot or Bryson or Brooks, I want to bring positivity to it or bring a light to their light.

I feel like I have the wit or the intelligence to do that in a positive way and call the shots. Am I any good at it? No. I am just telling you what I think. I dont re-watch a replay, I dont know what anybody says about me or what Twitter world says about me. But that is my goal. To be there for that. They didnt pay me to show up at the Showdown, they paid for my hotel room. I just want to see that world. I want to see and learn it.
Bubba Watson talks about his decision
Although his joining LIV Golf has been met with strong reactions, the experienced golfer seems proud of his decision. Bubba reveals that he had knee surgery when he came to LIV, but he did five events, and was immediately impressed with this product.
Watson admits that the controversial Tour is a quite different story than anything so far, putting the emphasis on things off camera.
The famous golfer believes that fans and others don't think about what happens behind the screen, which is the aspect that particularly impressed him.
