Lilia Vu delighted the golf public with her performance in the last round of the Ford Championship, birding three of her first four holes. This is how the 27-year-old American came to the leading position. A great score of 8-under-par 64 ensured her to move to 14-under 130.

The 27-year-old pointed out that she was a bit stressed, but in consultation with her caddy, she calmed down and started to play her game. The famous American golfer felt that everything was in its place, she had a great feeling before the start of this round, and she used the momentum.
"I know I was a little stressed on the range and my caddie could kind of tell, and so he told me, we're just going to stick to or start lines today and then I'll handle everything. So I trusted him in that sense," Vu said, as quoted by Deadspin.
"I think that really helped me going into the round, and just focused on the shot in front of me and getting from point A to point B. That really kind of helped me. So, yeah, somehow just happened to play well. Felt like everything was grooving in the right spot."

Charley Hull reacts
On the other hand, England's Charley Hull is now two shots behind the leader of this tournament, although she started this tournament in an impressive way, having the lead. Windy conditions created massive problems for her, but the English golfer tried to respond to such conditions.
She carded a three-under-par 69 in the second round, and in an interview with the media she stressed that she is not so disappointed with her performance.
Windy conditions were a big obstacle, not only for her, but also for her colleagues.
"I felt like I played pretty solid out there today," she said. "I holed some good putts, and I missed some that I probably should have holed, but it was a bit windy out there today.
It was a little bit trickier on some of the holes, but I'm pretty happy with that and looking forward to the weekend."
