Seth Rollins just reignited the fire ahead of WrestleMania 41and he did it by throwing shade that hits ten years deep.
After the March 28 episode of SmackDown set the stage for a blockbuster Triple Threat Match between Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41, The Visionary took to Instagram with a not-so-subtle shot at his longtime rival and the Wise Man.
Rollins posted a throwback photo from WrestleMania 31, where he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract mid-match and walked out as WWE Championleaving both Reigns and Brock Lesnar stunned. With zero caption but perfect timing, the post served as a loud reminder of the last time Rollins crashed Romans party on the biggest stage of them all.
The dig comes right after an emotional segment on SmackDown, where Paul Heyman revealed CM Punk would finally main event WrestleMania. The crowd went wild, and Punk looked genuinely shaken by the announcement. But Rollins clearly isnt in the mood to celebrate anyones dreamespecially not with Reigns and Heyman smugly standing across the table.
Its been ten years since Rollins pulled off the heist of the century at WrestleMania 31, and hes making sure Reigns doesnt forget it. With Heyman still in Romans corner, the message was loud and clear: history has a habit of repeating itselfand Seth might just be the man to make it happen again.
Do you think Seth Rollins is setting the stage for another WrestleMania shocker? Should Roman and Punk be worried about history repeating itself? Drop your thoughts belowwere watching.
