Dwayne The Rock Johnson may be a box office megastar, but according to Triple H, hell never truly walk away from the ring.
WWEs Chief Content Officer Paul Triple H Levesque recently appeared on Sunday Brunch and opened up about The Rocks deep-rooted connection to professional wrestling. While The Great One might be rubbing shoulders with Hollywoods elite these days, Triple H says nothing compares to the thrill of a WWE crowd.
The Rock constantly comes back into what we do because while he loves Hollywood, theres no place to get that connection, Levesque said. When 80,000 people are going crazy and youre in that ring, and youre controlling their emotions with your storytelling, its electric.
The Rock made his explosive return to WWE back in 2011 as the host of WrestleMania 27. Fast-forward to 2024, and hes doing more than just showing uphes now sitting on TKOs board of directors and running the show on-screen as the Final Boss. His current persona, a power-hungry heel using corporate clout to manipulate outcomes, has brought new life to the character fans once knew.
His last appearance came at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, where he aligned with a heel-turning John Cena to assault Cody Rhodes, throwing the WrestleMania 41 card into chaos. Now, with Rhodes and Cena set to square off, fans are already looking toward the next power move from The Final Boss.
Will The Rock return to make another massive statement before WrestleMania? Or has the boardroom version of him already done enough damage?
