After blindsiding TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich on the March 20 episode of iMPACT Wrestling, Jayne has fans talking and taking notice. Her ambush, which followed a tense in-ring confrontation between Slamovich and Tessa Blanchard, erupted into chaos and ended with Santino Marella storming out to lay down the law. Next week, its Slamovich vs. JayneBlanchard banned from ringside.
But behind the scenes, it sounds like Jayne might already be carving out a spot in the TNA locker room.
According to Fightful Select, Jayne made a good impression upon her TNA appearance, with sources inside the company responding positively to her performance and presence. PWInsider also reported that Fatal Influencethe faction involving Jayneis currently scheduled to work an upcoming TNA pay-per-view. While no official match has been announced, the creative interest is there.
Jayne, a former WWE NXT talent, has been looking for a new chapter since her departure from the black-and-gold brand, and TNA may be just the place to make her mark. Between the ambush and the internal response, this might be more than a one-off.
