Rhea Ripley had fans roaring at a recent WWE live eventbut not everyone was laughing.
During a house show appearance, the Womens World Champion grabbed a kendo stick and playfully smacked her backside with it, firing up the crowd with her usual unapologetic energy. While the fans in attendance ate it up, one fellow WWE Superstar definitely didnt.
Zoey Stark took to Twitter with a clear message and video proof. The footage showed Ripley mid-taunt, but Stark added a blur over Ripleys rear and posted it with the caption: Example #1 whats wrong with women in todays society.
The shot was loud and clearand it reignited the conversation around Ripleys in-ring persona and her fearless approach to crowd interaction.
This isnt the first time Ripleys antics have drawn fire. Just last year, she delivered a stinkface to Nia Jax at another live event and was met with criticism. At the time, Ripley didnt back down and clapped back at critics for holding her to a different standard than male wrestlers. Fans are now watching to see if shell issue another response after Starks jab.
