South Korean Hyo Joo Kim played a phenomenal tournament, winning against American Lilila Wu in the final round of the LPGA Ford Championship.
The 29-year-old golfer made nine birdies in an 8-under 64, and with the lowest score of the day, she came to a total of 22-under 266. Kim was still under strong emotions after the victory, admitting that she feels lighthearted as she had not won in a long time
So its been a while since I had any wins so I was getting a little bit stressed, -Kim said, as quoted by Arab News.
But I did work out a lot during the winter time so now that I have a win Im a little bit lighthearted.

The feeling was great today. I just thought one birdie at a time.
Although she was seriously behind Vu during the last day, Kim managed to take the leading position with seven birdies. However, she also had periods of crisis during the game, and it was not clear whether she would reach the playoffs.
Kim watched the results intently, a little apprehensive about the potential scenarios. However, she admits that she did not feel nervous in the last moments.
I kept on thinking we might go on a playoff, so I kept stretching, she said. I thought I would be very nervous, but I really wasnt.
Lilia Vu reacts
Vu, although some expected her to be disappointed, says she is proud of herself. The injury that caused her massive problems last year still causes her minor problems, but enough to sometimes distract her. However, the popular golfer is happy with the overall feeling of this tournament.

Im proud that I kind of stuck to my goal, my weekly goal. The only goal is to be in tune with my body, she said.
