It is known that golf is a globally popular sport with a huge fan base. Famous personalities from even other sports often use their free time playing this sport, enjoying it.
Colin Montgomerie, a well-known golf figure, in an interview with the media put an accent on the former star of the Premier League, Jimmy Bullard, stressing that the 46-year-old has potential to play on the PGA Tour Champions.
Montgomerie, being a guest on the Golf League YouTube channel, received an interesting question from Peter 'Tubes' Dale, regarding Bullard's chances in professional golf.
The Scottish golfer pointed out that he was impressed with Bullard's performances on golf courses, feeling that he is superior in many aspects of the game, stressing that he is good enough to compete with professionals.
"So, you've got the speed. You've got the length. You know how to compete which is key - you want to compete. You want the challenge, don't you?
That's what it is. You want the challenge, and you are good enough to compete. This is the first time I've played nine holes with you, and I've been very very impressed.
Very impressed with everything; the putting, and stroke is superb. What you've got in your hands... the educated hands we call it in our game. I tell you what, three years, what are you 47? Give it a bash. Give it a bash. I think you are [good enough]. I think you'd regret it if you didn't."- he said, as quoted by MIRROR.
