Netflix is going all in on WrestleMania weekendand now theyve officially attached their name to one of the biggest party events on the calendar: WaleMania X.
The streaming giant, which is now the home of WWE Raw in the U.S. and hosts WWE programming internationally, announced it will present WaleMania X on April 17 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, just two nights before WrestleMania 41 kicks off at Allegiant Stadium.
The annual event, known for mixing pro wrestling and hip-hop culture, will feature special guest appearances, a live edition of The Masked Man Show, and a performance from none other than Grammy-nominated rapper Wale himself.
Netflix dropped the news on social media with a slick promo, positioning WaleMania X as a major attraction during the weeklong celebration in Sin City. Wale kept it short and sweet in response, posting Viva Las Vegas.
This marks another major move by Netflix to embed itself deeper into the WWE fanbase, as the streaming service continues its new era of wrestling programming with Monday Night RAWand now, live branded events.
Wale has long been a fixture in the wrestling scene, attending shows, collaborating with superstars, and even walking out wrestlers at major events. WaleMania has grown every year, and with Netflix now backing it, this years installment could be the biggest yet.
