The March 31 episode of WWE RAW went down in Londons O2 Arena. They wrapped up a long tour of Europe with tonights show, and it all ended with Rhea Ripley getting a chance to secure herself a WrestleMania marquee match.
Rhea Ripley finally got her rematch for the Womens World Title against IYO Sky this week in London. This is a controversial match, one that included Ripley signing the WrestleMania contract along with Sky and Bianca Belair.
To make things even more interesting, Bianca Belair was on hand as the matchs special guest referee. That certainly added an unpredictable element to everything that surrounded this main event match.
This main event had a big match feel, thanks to the ring introductions by Alicia Taylor. Then Bianca Belair called for the bell while wearing a referee outfit that she made herself.
This match started off with Bianca Belair pulling each opponent off each other as they broke her 5 count in the corner. So, she was fair in the beginning.
As the match kept going, Bianca remained impartial, but Rhea Ripley thought that she had a win after IYO Sky kicked out of a pinfall attempt. Then Rhea nailed a Razors Edge for a near fall.
IYO came back with a roll-up pin, but Ripley kicked out. They traded holds and went back-and-forth for a bit longer, but then Rhea Ripley nailed Bianca Belair with a kick that sent her tumbling out of the ring. Ripley nailed a Riptide at that point, but nobody was there to count.
Rhea Ripley wasnt happy at all, and she yelled at Bianca Belair to get back in the ring, which she did, but IYO Sky kicked out. Rhea got in Biancas face, but then IYO jumped her. Bianca had to pull Bianca off IYO as she beat on her in the ropes. Then Rhea slapped Bianca as IYO accidentally nailed Belair with a missile dropkick from the top rope. At that point, Bianca Belair called off the match, while proclaiming that shes done.
Fans were not happy about this at all, and they booed the end result. After that, Rhea went to brawl with Bianca, and then IYO jumped on both of them. IYO pummeled Rhea, and then Bianca peeled IYO off to get some shots in. Rhea Ripley then put both IYO and Bianca down to stand tall at the end of the night. We will have to see how things transpire on the road to WrestleMania 41, but things were certainly explosive in London.
