The dust is still settling after the March 31 edition of WWE RAW in London, but IYO SKY just made it crystal clearshes not backing down.
Following the wild finish to her Womens World Title match against Rhea Ripleycomplete with Bianca Belairs shocking mid-match walkoutSKY took to Twitter and dropped a message that has fans talking. Alongside a photo of her title belt with her custom side plates, she wrote:
The Womans World title still has these side plates. But the ending of my match tonight was a painful one for me. It was a reminder that as HARD as it is to get the Title, its even WAY HARDER to keep and defend it!! At Wrestlemania I WILL get the job done and come out on top as the WWE womens world CHAMPION.
That tweet hit less than an hour after RAW went off the air, and it didnt take long for reactions to pour inespecially from fans still reeling from the messy finish in London. During the match, Ripley hit her signature Riptide and had SKY down, but there was no count because Belair had been knocked out of the ring. When Bianca finally returned, SKY kicked out, and the whole thing spiraled into chaos. Belair eventually declared she was done and walked out on the match, sparking loud boos from the O2 Arena crowd.
Backstage, Rhea Ripley wasnt quiet either. Wheres Bianca Belair? She pulling a John Cena? I cant see her anywhere, Ripley said in a scathing promo, before vowing to continue to ruin Bianca Belair until I get exactly what I want.
But SKY isnt here to let the drama overshadow her championship reign. That post was more than a flexit was a warning. WrestleMania 41 is right around the corner, and IYO SKY just reminded everyone that shes not letting go of that title without a fight.
