WrestleMania 41 is less than three weeks away, and the card is certainly coming together, especially when it comes to the marquee matches. With that said, WWEs internal reaction to Triple Hs decision on the main events has been revealed.
While speaking on thepost-Raw show, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about the internal reaction to Triple Hs decision regarding the WrestleMania main events, where it was said that while Triple H claims its based on what earned the best spot, its clear he has a preference.
Sapp confirmed that Triple H absolutely favors a specific match for the main event. He pointed out that Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins is one of the biggest marquee matches possible, appealing to casual fans.
Sean Ross Sapp stated that there hasnt been much internal reaction regarding Triple Hs decision. It was noted that only a small group of wrestlers are concerned about being in the WrestleMania main event, as most understand it isnt a realistic opportunity for them this year.
It was confirmed that CM Punk will face Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in the main event forNight One of WrestleMania 41. As for Night Two, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena, so its clear both main events were chosen as they involve the biggest names.
With two star-studded main events, WWE is banking on maximum mainstream appeal for this years WrestleMania, and well have to see how both matches will be received by fans and critics alike.
