WWEs next premium live event is locked inand this time, theyre coming back to a city with deep roots in wrestling history.

WWE announced that Backlash will go down at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, May 10. This marks yet another major event for the Gateway City, which has previously hosted massive shows like Survivor Series, Money in the Bank, and Royal Rumble.

This years Backlash follows last years record-shattering show in Lyon, France, which became the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history. That 2024 show completely sold out, and now WWEs aiming to run it back in front of a wild St. Louis crowd.

And yes, hometown hero Randy Orton is scheduled to appear. But he wont be the only legend in the buildingJohn Cena will be there too, marking his first Backlash appearance since 2009 as part of his farewell tour.

WWE is banking on that star power, and the early numbers are already delivering. According to WrestleTix, as of now 11,264 tickets have been distributed out of a current setup of 15,045 seats. Thats a jump of nearly 2,000 tickets in just the last week. With over 40 days to go until the show, only 3,781 seats remain.

For comparison? The October 7, 2024 edition of RAW in the same venue only drew 8,296. And WWEs got a bigger setup this time17,373 seats total on the current map.

With Cena saying goodbye and Orton representing his hometown, May 10 is shaping up to be a major night for WWE.
