Barcelona will book their place in the Copa del Rey final with another victory in the Spanish capital on Wednesday night.

Madrid has been a happy hunting ground for the La Liga leaders this season, with Hansi Flick's side claiming memorable victories in the capital's two grand amphitheatres.

The international break threatened to disrupt Barca's unwavering momentum, but Flick's men haven't missed a beat in the aftermath. A pair of convincing wins means they're three points clear of Real Madrid at the summit.

Their attentions now return to the Copa del Rey and for another significant night at the Metropolitano. A crazy opening leg with Atletico Madrid means the score is locked at four apiece heading into Wednesday's tussle.

Here's how Barcelona could line up for the second leg against Atleti.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny - While the first leg arrived at a time when Szczesny was yet to convince, the veteran goalkeeper has since done plenty to suggest he could remain Barca's number one once Marc-Andre ter Stegen returns.

RB: Jules Kounde - It's not all Lamine Yamal down the right flank, you know. Kounde has had a majestic season, and he'll keep his place in the team on Wednesday.

CB: Pau Cubarsi - The young centre-back picked up a knock on international duty and only featured off the bench against Girona on Sunday. However, Flick has suggested that Cubarsi is ready to return to the XI.

CB: Inigo Martinez - Flick has the luxury of choosing from three excellent centre-back options, and he's generally partnered teenager Cubarsi with Martinez this season.

LB: Alejandro Balde - Barca missed Balde against Girona on Sunday, although Gerard Martin did improve in the second half, and there's no doubt the flying left-back will be back in the XI in Madrid.

CM: Pedri - The Spanish midfielder has been a constant this season, and Atleti will have to get to Pedri if they're to disrupt this Barcelona team. They had some success in their recent meeting.

CM: Frenkie de Jong - De Jong starred off the bench on Sunday and is a sure bet to return to the XI despite Eric Garcia's impressive display.

RW: Lamine Yamal - Yamal netted the late go-ahead goal in their recent La Liga meeting, and there's no doubt Simeone will make a concerted effort to tame the superstar teenager on Wednesday. They have to.

AM: Fermin Lopez - With Dani Olmo out, Flick will turn to either Fermin or Gavi. The former was more impressive at the weekend, and is deserving of another start.

LW: Raphinha - There had been a few concerns that Raphinha may not be fit to play on Wednesday after he failed to come off the bench at the weekend, but Flick confirmed that the Brazilian is ready to go.

ST: Robert Lewandowski - Flick must be tempted by Ferran Torres given his scoring form, but how can he take out Lewandowski? The star forward scored twice on Sunday and was key in Barca's resurgence at the Metropolitano before the international break.
