The April 1 episode of NXT made a lot of headway toward Stand & Deliver. They also set the stage for next weeks episode of the brand in a big way.
Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor have been making a name for themselves in WWEs EVOLVE brand. They are known as Swipe Right, and the team showed up this week on NXT, and they had quite a first impression. They spoke to the NXT Tag Team Champions, and they said that Fraxiom are their version of the Hardy Boyz. Then they said that we will see Swipe Right in the ring next week on NXT against Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
Also, the members of Dark State will have a tough time ahead of them next week. After they attacked Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and JeVon Evans, the new NXT faction will face the people in the Stand & Deliver triple threat match next week in a six-man tag team match.
Jordynne Grace will take on Jaida Parker next week in singles action. Those two both have an NXT Womens Title match in their sights. Also, Sol Ruca confirmed that she will have her qualifying match for the six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver, but her opponent was not announced.
We will have to see what else WWE brings to the table for NXT next week. At this rate, they are certainly doing a lot as they race toward Stand & Deliver on April 19.
