There are many question marks over Tiger Woods' future, and his return to golf courses. After rupturing his Achilles, the famous golfer underwent surgery, but we still do not know the date of his return.

Although some fear that this is also the end of Tiger's career, his former caddy Steve Williams calmed the passions on the golf scene, firmly convinced that the 49-year-old aim to return to golf courses, hoping to win another Major.

Williams feels that Tiger still has a passion for competition and success, but the key to such a thing will be his full recovery.

"Tiger's still got a task at hand," Williams told the Sky Sports Golf podcast.

"Obviously he's out injured with another setback, but I truly believe that he will not give the chance of winning another major away.

He will want to still practice and get to the point where he feels he could stand on the tee and physically compete for 72 holes, knowing that he's given every bit of practice he can do to get there and try and win one more major.

He's not done yet!"

The experienced caddie recalled the moment he became Tiger's caddie, impressed by the young golfer's desire and ambition. Upon arriving as caddie, William sensed how hungry Tiger was to win Majors, and was an important factor in Woods really starting to do great things on the golf scene.

"When I went to take the job with Tiger and talked to him about what his plan is and what his goals were, it was just overwhelming importance placed on the major championships," Williams said.

"Following his victory at The Masters [1997], he hadn't won another major championship when I stepped on the bag in 1999. With every major that passes by, it's one less chance to win one and he's not getting his career on the track that he wanted to get on. I could sense that straight away."

Williams and his impact

His decision at the PGA Championship speaks volumes for how important a factor Williams was in Tiger's success. Although Tiger suggested on the last holes that the putt be outside the hole, his caddy at the time was sure that the putt was actually inside it and decided to overrule him.

In the end, it turned out to be the right decision, as Woods made the putt to win against Sergio Garcia. Williams believes that this victory was the key to further success in his career, and the moment when trust was gained between them.
