Former NXT Womens Champion Giulia hasnt been seen on NXT TV since she lost the title to Stephanie Vaquer at Roadblock in March. This was a Title for Title match, which saw Vaquer walk away as a double champion.
The reason for this match and Giulias status has been and continues to be not fully clear. We heard initial reports that she was injured which turned into her being just banged up. Theres also been some talk about visa issues.
In the newest report by Fightful Select, Giulia has been at the WWE Performance Center lately. However, she has not been participating since her match with Vaquer. She did appear at a recent NXT Live show where she confronted Cora Jade. Although not fully confirmed, the rumor going around the PC is that she has an ankle injury. WWE has hopes of her returning soon, but there have been no further updates.
