Nia Jax has been on an absolute tear since her WWE return in 2023. She delivered a standout performance at the Royal Rumble but has been absent since the Elimination Chamber event. While theres no word on her return to WWE programming, the reason for her absence has now been revealed.
While speaking during a Q&A Session on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes revealed the reason for Nia Jaxs absence from WWE television. It was noted that she had not been cleared for action and was expected to receive clearance two weeks ago, but its unclear if that happened.
Despite this, Nia Jax has not appeared on WWE television. The nature of her situation, whether it is due to an injury or another issue, is still not known. Internally she is still not cleared, which explains her continued absence from television.
WrestleVotes added that Nia Jax has been inactive, though she had been preparing for a return. It was anticipated that she would be cleared around March 22nd, but its not known why that hasnt happened.
Nia Jax even addressed fans being concerned about her absence from WWE television, as she joked she was busy in catering. However, its clear that it might still be a while until she makes her return.
With WrestleMania 41 coming up in less than three weeks, we will have to wait and see whether Nia Jax will be to make her comeback before the Showcase of the Immortals, as fans feel her presence is definitely necessary in the womens division right now.
