Cody and Brandi Rhodes are one of professional wrestlings top power couples, having been together since 2011 before marrying in 2013. Every great love story has a beginning, and Cody Rhodes has now revealed how he and Brandi first started dating.
While speaking Stephanies Places on ESPN, Cody Rhodes revealed how his relationship with Brandi Rhodes began, saying Brandi made the first move by blowing in his ear backstage at a show.
Cody Rhodes recalled telling her that her hairstyle was too big for TV, thinking he was just giving advice as a peer, but Brandi saw it as flirting. When he gave her a casual hug, she supposedly blew in his ear, which he said made him feel like Dashing Cody Rhodes was real.
Stephanie McMahon then decided to ask Brandi Rhodes the same question in order to know what Brandi Rhodes had to say. Brandi laughed it off, saying Cody Rhodes exaggerated the moment.
According to her, she simply gave him a hug like everyone else and was just breathing, not intentionally blowing in his ear. Regardless, that moment helped build trust between them, and they soon started spending more time together.
Cody and Brandi Rhodes met during their early years in WWE. At the time, Rhodes was an upcoming talent, while Brandi worked as a ring announcer under the name Eden Stiles. Last year, they celebrated their 11-year wedding anniversary, making it clear they are still going strong and fans wouldnt have it any other way.
